PARADIPLOMACY AND THE EU

At the broadest level, there are three layers of paradiplomacy:

PREPARING FOR A POSSIBLE TRUMP REVIVAL

Given the possibility of Trump's return to the White House, the European Union and its member states should make preparations for the storm. To better weather it, they need to focus on "subnational diplomacy" to promote municipal and other regional engagement among friendly nations. Strengthening local-level ties could help broaden ties with the U.S. beyond those formed among national governments and armed forces, making it possible to soften the impact of a leadership change in Washington.

TRUMP’S INTERNATIONAL AGENDA IF RE-ELECTED

HELPLESSNESS IN THE FACE OF CRIES OF PAIN

Civilians are the victims of wars, suffering the most in any armed conflict in any region. The innocent is always the fuel. This war must end , and clear mechanisms must be established to spare the innocent from the consequences of any fighting. All peace-loving nations should work to prevent further casualties, push for peace,  through peace alone. Wars are like fires, easy to ignite and difficult to extinguish. Those who enter a war without a plan are unlikely to find their way out. Those who start it without clear objectives end up becoming its target.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment states that “No person shall ... hold any office ... under the United States ... who, having previously taken an oath ... to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same."

THE WORLD IS WATCHING: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

For the past month, medics have risked their lives and safety to treat Gaza’s wounded. Despite widespread, indiscriminate, and incessant bombardment by Israeli forces, doctors have continued working under fire. With limited access to food, water, electricity, essential medicines, and medical supplies, they have persevered and they recount scenes of horror in the hospitals: dead bodies everywhere, people with crushed limbs rescued from collapsed buildings, orphaned children with severe burns covering most of their tiny bodies.
