AALEP STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

1. AALEP acts a centre of expertise on public policy advocacy. It is the independent centre of reference and excellence for promoting public policy advocacy in the EU and beyond.
2. AALEP acts as a catalyst, promotes collaboration, launches new initiatives and introduces solution to improve public policy advocacy capabilities.
3. AALEP helps professionals and practitioners working in the field of public policy advocacy pinpoint best practice and new areas of research. It also works with partners in other world regions, exchanging information and expertise.
4. AALEP develops common training standards for public policy advocates and harmonize public policy advocates’ education in EU and associated countries.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

AALEP student membership is designed for individuals engaged in formal full-time undergraduate or graduate study at a college or university looking to become active in the fields of government relations and public affairs. Student members receive the same benefits as regular members except the right to vote or hold elective office.

Student Member Fee is € 150.00 (Initiation fee waived)  and as a welcoming gift a free copy of the ‘Fouloy’s Explanatory Lobbying Dictionary) . Dues paid are non-transferable and non-refundable. No portion of the dues paid shall be refundable because of membership being terminated for any reason.

A student member has access to the materials for as long as he/she is a current member in good standing, with new content added regularly.

Student Membership Application

To become a student member, you must attach either

• A copy of the transcript showing the course you are taking or
• A letter from the College or University stating that you are currently enrolled at the school.

Student Member Fee € 150.00 (Initiation fee waived).

Note: Both your printed application form and documents verifying your student status are required for processing. Full payment entitles new members to membership from the date payment is processed by AALEP for one year. No rebate of dues is available upon early resignation of membership
