BIT (Milan): The International Travel Fair, known as Bit (Borsa Internazionale del Turismo) is an event that brings together trade operators from all over the world, a large audience of visitors, travel lovers, television reporters and press. Sponsored by Fiera Milano, the most important player in the Exhibition Industry in Italy and one of the biggest in the world, Bit takes place every year with more than 1.500 international and Italian Hosted Buyers, more than 2.000 participating companies and over 60.000 professional visitors.
  5. FITUR (Madrid): FITUR is a global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound Ibero American markets. In 2015-confirming the trend towards recovery in the industry- 9,419 exhibiting companies from 165 countries/ regions, 125,084 trade participants and 97,467 people from the general public, met during FITUR. Moreover among the participation figures of note was the presence of 7,398 journalists from 60 countries, a turnout that demonstrates the importance of FITUR on the international circuit of tourism sector events.
