LOBBYING FOR TRUMP

  1. Paul Manafort (Campaign Chairman): Paul John Manfort, Jr. was an adviser to the presidential campaigns of Republicans Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bob Dole, George W. Bush, and John Mc Cain. He is currently the national chairman of the presidential campaign of Donald Trump. Manafort was founding partner of Republican lobbying powerhouse Black, Manafort & Stone, which he left in 1996. That firm, later renamed Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly is now part of Prime Policy Group, a subsidiary of WPP's Burson-Marsteller. Manafort is currently senior partner at Davis, Manafort and Freedman. That firm is led by Rick Davis, who was national campaign manager for John McCain's 2008 presidential run. Laurence Gay, Doug Davenport, Rick Gates and Marc Palazzo are career lobbyists with professional ties to Manafort that have been brought to lobby for Trump. 
  2. Doug Davenport: Doug Davenport is a former lobbyist with Manafort's old firm, the DCI Group. DCI Group is an American public relations, lobbying and business consulting firm based in Washington DC. The company was founded in 1996 and has since expanded its parctice to become a public affairs company offering a range of services. DCI Group provides communications and advocacy services to clients including large US corporations, trade associations, non-profit organizations and government organizations including educational institutions. DCI has been described as a 'Republican public relations firm. Exxon Mobil is a confirmed client. Other notable clients of the firm have included Boeing, General Motors Corporation, Microsoft, the U.S. Telecom Association.
  3. Mike McSherry: Mike McSherry is a veteran Republican operative and former executive director of the Republican Governors Association. He has spearheaded successul campaigns at the national and state level. He is the Managing Director of Mercury, in Washington DC. and clients include Airbn, Alcoa, Hyundai.
  4. Bill Mc Ginley. Bill Mc Ginley is a Washington DC based lawyer with Jones Day law firm. He is a contributing author for a chapter in the American Bar Association's Lobbying Manual, 5th edition and is frequently quoted on political law topics in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, and Politico.
  5. Michael Conforti: Used to work at Manafort's lobbying firm.
  6. Pat Brady: Used to work at Manafort's lobbying firm.
  7. Larry Harlow: Larry Harlow, Timmons & Co, a former member of the Reagan and Bush 41 administrations. The firm currently represents the American Medical Association and it previously worked for oil and energy companies such as ConocoPhillips and Entergy.
  8. Bill Harris: Bill Harris is a long time Washington DC operative of the Republican Party who once lobbied for the US Chamber of Commerce and Quest Software Inc.
  9. Wiley Rein: Willy Rein is a power lobbying and law firm. Many of the firm's lawyers and public policy advisors have held high-level positions in the White House, on Capitol Hill, and in federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the U.S. Departrment of Justice.  The firm represents a wide range of clients including AT&T, Verizon, 21st Century Fox, and CBS's parent company.

Foreign Policy Advisors 

Trump opposes the supporters of the U.S. expansionist tendencies. Trump's 'Great America means a United States that is a great world power, or one of the world's great powers, but not a hegemonic pole.

  1. Senator Jeff Sessions: Sessions is a conservative Evangelist Protestant. He opposes Muslim immigration to the United States and generally adheres to the most stringent views on immigration. Sessions is a member of the Senate Committee on the Armed Forces and is known as one of the Republican hawks.
  2. Carter Page: Carter Page is a U.S. Naval Academy graduate who currently works as an expert on energy production and economic development, particularly in the former Soviet region of Eastern Europe. He is young (graduated in 2009) but very experienced expert who was also an international affairs fellow at the Council on foreign Relations, where he co-directed a study group on the Caspian Sea region. Page advised the Russian-state-owned energy company Gazprom on its acquisition of the largest oil and gas export pfroject in the world.
  3. George Papadopoulos: George Papadopoulos was previously Director-Centre for International Energy and Natural Resources Law & Security, at the London Centre of International Law Practice. He was also a research fellow at the conservative Hudson Institute think tank.
  4. General Joseph Keith Kellogg: General Keith Kellog is a former commander of the 82nd Airborne Division and was Chief Operating Offiicer for 'Coalition Provisional Authority' which temporarily governed Iraq following the 2003 invasion. Today, he is executive vice-president of Virginia-based CACI International, a private intelligence and information technology consulting firm.
  5. Joseph Schmitz: Joszeph Schmitz was the inspector general at the Department of Defense during the George W. Bush administartion. In 2005, Schmitz took a position as General Counsel with the Prince GRoup, a holding company for Blackwater Worldwide.
  6. Walid Phares: Walid Phares is an American Scholar of Lebanese Maronite Christian origin. He is a professor at the National Defense University in Washington DC. Phares is an adviser to the House of Representatives. In addition, he is a counterterrorism expert and specialist in Middle East foreign policy.
  7. General Michael Flynn: At one point General Michael Flynn was a Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, and then he became an outspoken proponent of closer, friendlier ties with Russia.
