3. Learning Objectives: 3 Learning Objectives that describe what attendeed will be able to do with the knowledge they obtain in the session or how it will enable them to do their jobs better.

7. Speaker's Agreement

  1. Speaker agrees to provide practical, useful information that will enhance the understanding of the audience on the topic.
  2. Speaker agrees to refrain from promotional tactics designed to sell his product or services, and from holding back relevant materials in an attempt to obtain attendee contact information.
  3. Speaker agrees to submit relevant materials (i.e. presentation handout) by the stipulated deadline to host organisation.
  4. Speaker agrees to have his/her materials (available) on host organisation's website.
  5. Speaker agrees to have photographs taken of him/her during his/her presentation.
  6. Speaker grants permission to photocopy and distribute the presentation including handouts and any related materials during the presentation.
  7. Speaker warrants and represents that the Presentation, handouts, and related materials are factually accurate and contain no matter libelous or otherwise unlawful.
  8. Speaker further warrants that such Presentation, handouts, and related materials are either 1) the Speaker’s own original work or, 2) available for use without permission because they are in a public domain, or 3) when materials utilized in the Presentation are not the speaker’s own original work or in a public domain, they are either a) presented with the permission of the originator/owner of the material, or b) are believed to be within the “fair use” exemption of copyright law which includes use for purposes of criticism, news reporting, commentary, teaching, and research.
  9. Speaker understands that permissions granted under the agreement do not prohibit the Speaker from using the Presentation including handouts or other materials utilized in the Presentation for the host organisation in the future in the Speaker’s professional or personal work.
  10. Speaker authorizes the use of his/her name, likeness, photograph, and biographical data in connection with the use and promotion of any aspect of the Presentation including rebroadcast on a “virtual” basis.
  11. Speaker agrees to have his/her presentation recorded and used for marketing, promotional and education purposes.
  12. Speaker requires the host organisation to arrange and pay for basic, necessary overnight travel expenses incurred (including economy fare for European travel and business class for international travel, cab fare and/or other transport expenses, overnight hotel, meals.
