​​Allianz: Margot Jilet Vesentini heads to Allianz as a senior manager EU affairs, via Insurance Europe.

AnimalhealthEurope: AnimalhealthEurope has elected a new president for a partial term: Rob Kelly — SVP and Head of Europe, Russia, North Africa and Middle East region for MSD Animal Health. Kelly succeeds the retiring Hans Dittrich in both role, he’ll finish out the second half of Dittrich’s two-year term as president.

BOLDT Partners: Boldt Partners has recruited Lionel Dupont (previously art director for BCW Brussels) and Kjetil Løvik (previously creative director at BCW Oslo) for its new affiliated creative agency, BOLDT Edge. Jimmy De Bock will lead the team from Brussels. 

BusinessEurope: Business Europe’s Council of Presidents has elected Fredrik Persson as the next president starting July 1. Persson is president of Ellevio AB and JM AB in Sweden. He’ll take over from Pierre Gattaz.

Cloud Infrastructure Service Providers (CISPE): Aruba CEO Stefano Cecconi is the new President of CISPE in Europe. 

COCIR (Medtech lobby): Annabel Seebohm is COCIR’s new secretary general. Alessia Gramuglia has joined as technical & regulatory affairs senior manager, via Stenström Consulting. She replaces Annika Eberstein, who’d also been serving as COCIR’s interim secretary general and is now a program and policy senior manager for Philips.

COINBASE: MaryKate Viole Collins, former head of Brussels office for Vulcan Consulting, is now head of EMEA Policy Communications for Coinbase, the cryptocurrency exchange platform.

Computer & Communications Industry Association: Jonathan McHale, a former deputy assistant U.S. Trade Representative, has been named VP of digital trade and will work on trade issues in both Washington and  Brussels. 

Counter Balance (European public finance watchdog): Frank Vanaerschot has been appointed the director of Counter Balance, replacing Xavier Sol. 

Denton Global Advisors: Heike Galbraith, from Pfizer, joins the health care and life sciences team at Dentons Global Advisors, as a partner. 

DOW: Alexander Majer is the new government affairs director for chemicals management in the Dow Brussels office. He was previously at First Solar

ePure (European Renewable Ethanol Association): David Carpintero is the new director general of ePURE. He was previously head of CEEREAL, the European Breakfast Cereal Association.

EURORDIS (Rare Diseases Europe):  Therapeutic Development Director Virginie Hivert has been appointed to the Management Board of the European Medicines Agency as a civil society representative.

EuroHealthNet (Association of Public Health Agencies: EuroHealthNet has elected Martin Dietrich, currently the acting director of Germany’s Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA), as president.

Europatat (the European Potato Trade Association): Europatat has a new president, Tigran Richter, who succeeds Gilles Fontaine.

Europa Bio: Jamie Wilkinson is EuropaBio’s new health care biotechnology director.

European Automobile Manufacturer’s Association:  Sigrid de Vries, chief of the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA), will take over as director of the Automobile Manufacturers’ Association on September 1.

European Cancer Patient Coalition: Evi Palaiologou is the new partnerships and communications manager, via Hanbury Strategy.

 European Heart Network: Charmaine Griffiths, CEO of the British Heart Foundation, is now officially the president of the European Heart Network. She’d held the post on an interim basis for the past half-year. 

European House:  Laura Basagni is the new director of the Brussels office for the European House Ambrosetti, the public affairs consultancy. She was previously with the German Marshall Fund of the United States. 

European Investment Bank: Nikos Chrysoloras is leaving Bloomberg to join the European Investment Bank as a a senior media officer in Brussels. 

European Public Health Alliance: Marcin Rodzinka-Verhelle is leaving the European Public Health Alliance as a policy manager

Fipra: FIPRA International has appointed Erik Jonnaert as its next chairman. He’ll take over on June 30 for Robert Madelin, who is staying on as senior strategist. Fipra has also recruited Aymeric Boillot as health care account manager from Hanover Communications. 

Global Counsel: Global Counsel has announced a long slate of hires and promotions. Alessandro Gangarossa has been promoted to associate director for trade and manufacturing in the Brussels office. Yasemin Kavlak joins that team as a senior associate after more than 11 years at the Turkish Trade Ministry

Google: Andreas Aktoudianakis, previously of Huawei, heads to Google as a government affairs and public policy manager

GSMA (Mobile telecoms Association): Lotte Abildgaard joins GSMA as director, public policy, in Brussels. She was previously at Danske Bank. 

Ipsen (French drugmaker: ):  Loubna Ouriaghli is new head of government affairs and policy, via RPP Group. 

Invest Europe: Klaus Hommels of Lakestar known for early investments in Spotify, Klarna, Sumup and Revolut is the new chair of  the private equity and venture capital trade association Invest Europe. He succeeds Anne Fossemalle, director, equity funds at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Invest Europe is also filling out its comms team with recent hires Cristian Gheorghiu, online communication manager, and Robin Hörrmann, communication manager in charge of internal communications.

Microsoft: Ornella Cosomati-Koschwitz joins Microsoft as director sustainability policy. He was previously with PepsiCo.

Ogilvy Social.Lab: Luiza Fundătureanu joins the EU team as a senior account Manager. She’s an alumna of ZN Consulting. 

PNKetchum + Healthcare Team: Jenni Kortelainen, formerly of Hanbury Strategies, is a new senior account director

Portland: Victoria Dean after spending 2.5 years as Google’s global director of policy is taking the CEO reins from Mark Flanagan. Dean is based in London; Portland absorbed GPlus in Brussels in 2020. 

Psychedelic Access and Research European Alliance (PAREA): PAREA is launching on June 23. Founded by Tadeusz Hawrot of the European Federation of Neurological Associations, the 15-member coalition also includes groups like the Association of European Cancer Leagues, European Brain Council and drugmakers in this emerging field.

Rud Pedersen Public Affairs: Amanda Borra joins Rud Pedersen Public Affairs as an associate director, heading the defense and security portfolio, via Avisa Partners. Teresa Calvano has been promoted to partner leading the growth of its tech practice. Maria Chiara Detragiache is a new associate director in Rud Pedersen’s chemicals and environment practice, via the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe.

Safe Food Advocacy Europe (SAFE):  Floriana Cimmarusti, secretary general of SAFE  has been appointed by the Council of the EU as a consumer representative on the European Food Safety Authority’s management board.

The Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME): The Standing Committee of European Doctors  is promoting Sarada Das, its longtime deputy secretary general, to the top post. She succeeds Annabel Seebohm

VNO-NCW/MKB Nederland:  Martijn van Wanrooij, formerly of Dr2 Consultants, takes on double duty starting June 15, working in Brussels with Dutch employers organization VNO-NCW and MKB Nederland, a Dutch interest group for SMEs.
