• American Consortium on EU Studies European Union Center of Excellence. ACES is a unique partnership among five universities in the Washington D.C. area: American University, George Mason University, George Washington University, Georgetown University and John Hopkins University. The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars at the Smithonian Institution, the Catholic University of America, Howard University, and the University of Maryland are affiliated partners. ACES is housed at the Center for Transatlantic Relations at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of John Hopkins University in Washington D.C.
• The European Union Center of Excellence at the University of California, Berkeley (The European Union Center of Excellence at the University of California, Berkeley is a joint effort of the Institute of European Studies, and the Institute of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies working in cooperation with the School of Public Health, the Institute of Governmental Studies, the Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy, and the School of Law on the UC Berkeley campus.
• Colorado European Union Center of Excellence/University of Colarado, Boulder (The Center has undertaken partnerships across the campus (e.g., the School of Business, School of Law, and President’s Leadership Class), with non-profit educational organizations (e.g., the Center for Education in Law and Democracy [CELD] and the Colorado Council for Economic Education [CCEE]), and with higher educational institutions in our Mountain West Network (Colorado School of Mines, University of Denver, CU-Denver, Colorado State University, the University of Utah, Brigham Young University, the University of Wyoming, the University of Montana, the University of New Mexico and Arizona State University).
• The Miami-Florida European Union Center of Excellence, (MEUCE) is a consortium of Florida International University (FIU) and the University of Miami (UM). At FIU, it is housed within the School of International and Public Affairs at the College of Arts & Sciences.
• European Union Center at the University of Illinois
• European Union Center of Excellence, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, EUCE National Coordinator. The EUCE is a component of the Center for European Studies, which includes an undergraduate major, a program in Languages Across the Curriculum, and two MA level programs of study relating to European governance and transatlantic relations. The center is based in the College of Arts and Sciences.
• The European Union Center of Excellence (EUCE) at the University of Pittsburgh.
• European Union Center of Excellence at the University of Texas at Austin. The EU Center of Excellence, housed in the Center of European Studies in the College of Liberal Arts. The advisory board is composed of faculty members from the LBJ School of Public Affairs; the Department of History; British Studies; the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies; the Jackson School of Geosciences; the Department of Germanic Studies; and the Law School. Additionally, the Center receives support from, and works closely with, the deans, faculty, and staff of the College of Liberal Arts, the Law School, the LBJ School of Public Affairs, the School of Communications, the Cockrell School of Engineering, and the McCombs School of Business
• EU Center of Excellence, University of Washington-Seattle. The EU Center of Excellence of Seattle is housed together with its partner, the Center for West European Studies, in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. The Jackson School is part of the UW School of Arts & Sciences and is home to eight US Department of Education Title VI National Resource Centers.
