EUROPHOBE PARTIES- VOTES AND SEATS IN THE EP

Europhobes reject European belonging. With 16 parties from 13 Member States (France, Italy, Austria, Netherlands, Greece, Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom, Sweden, Czech Republic, Portugal, Cyprus and Denmark) and a total of 82 EP seats they  represent 10.9% of the total number of seats in the European Parliament. Most of them are clustered at the right or far right of the political spectrum. Due to their diverse convictions and exit preferences as well as their structural difficulty to forge cohesive politi­cal or voting alliances, they are do not shape political decisions in the EP.
